We’ve got a cracking board on, packed with fresh seafood, oysters, Moroccan skewers, tuna steak, hake, red snapper and plenty more.

Who fancies sitting down, relaxing and letting us take care of the rest?

No menu. No choices. Just the freshest local produce we can get our hands on from the day's markets and local suppliers, cooked with the respect it deserves.

Join us on Saturday 29th August from 7pm for a 10-course tasting journey, made up of beautifully crafted small plates, each one designed to take you on a culinary adventure from the very first bite to the grand finale.

To complement the experience, you'll have the option of a carefully selected flight of wines, perfectly paired with each stage of the menu.

Limited to just 25 guests, making for an intimate evening of exceptional food, great wine and good company.

The evening will last around 2½ hours, so get your conversations ready, settle in and enjoy the experience.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Graham. He wasn't just another face around the village – he was a friend to so many, and someone whose love of music, good company and community left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. Our hearts go out to the Meheux family at this incredibly difficult time, and we hope the whole Plumpton community can come together to celebrate a life so well lived.

A message from Graham's family -
"The Meheux family would like to invite all Graham's friends from the Plumpton community to a wake to celebrate his life next Wednesday, 29th July, 3pm at the Fountain. We appreciate this is very short notice (due to family from the States being in the country), but Graham would love as many people there as possible.

Music meant so much to Graham, and he requested that live music be a part of the wake, so bring your instruments and your vocals and anyone is welcome to perform.

There is no dress code."

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us last night to watch England take on Argentina. The result wasn't at all what we were hoping for, but it was fantastic to see the pub buzzing with so much support.

There's one more chance to get behind the Three Lions!
