FRY-DAY AT THE KENTISH RIFLEMAN: THE TRAILER’S FINAL FRIDAY SERVICE 🐟

Whilst Thursday’s Moules Night is fully booked, we still have space on Friday…. and it’s a good one.

It’s (finally!) time to say goodbye to our trailer. We won’t pretend we’ll miss it! So we’re sending it off in style, turning it into a traditional fish and chip shop van for one last night. Proper fish and chips, served from the van, to mark the end of an era and the return of our proper kitchen.

🐟 Golden battered fish, jumbo battered sausage, homemade “pukka” pie. Mushy peas pickled eggs….

Friday night, from 5.30pm. Come and help us wave it off!

Same chefs, same service, same place….. just a smaller menu! From Monday we are operating out of a portable kitchen which is at the front of the pub. Here is this weeks menu with a steak option coming later in the week.

Pie and a Pint can run as normal and our curry night on the 24th is going ahead.

The test run went very well so we are happy that we can still offer you the same KR experience you are used to. We will be serving fewer of you so please do book on 01732 810727 or on our website. See you soon.

The bar is open! Operation Clean Up has now begun, the portable kitchen has arrived and is getting set up ready for next week.

But most importantly we would love to see you for drinks! Pop in for a drink, enjoy the wonderful walks in the area this weekend and soak up our atmosphere even if you can’t have a bite to eat!

Come and have a drink!

Thanks to all the kind words following our announcement of a fire at the pub.

The good news is that the pub and bar is open! The bad news is that we are not able to open the kitchen and therefore will have to close the restaurant for the rest of the week.

We are in the process of putting a plan in place and hope to be back up and running working from a temporary kitchen as early Monday.

Please bear with us as we navigate this next chapter of KR history!
