Pretty perfect Polls!
A fabulous morning to count the cows and even better when they are all there and looking happy!
The 2 calves pictured are from Red Poll cows and a Blonde D’Aquitaine bull. This is a breeding we’ve had some good results from and will be having a few more like this again this year! 🐂🐂🐂

This week we managed to get the majority of the sheep sheared ✂️
This is an annual event done for the welfare of the sheep 🐑
It actually costs us more money to shear them than we get for the fleece 🧶
But at least they will feel better for the summer and reduces the chances of them getting flystrike now 🪰
And despite the rain, we were able to keep them under cover for a night so that they were easier to shear 🐏
A good job done team 💪

Also if anyone would like to buy some to spin their own wool. Get in touch! White and Jacobs wool available!

Footpath to Moor Farm Shop

Hi all, please see the petition link to the council, to introduce a footpath from newborough to the farm shop.

We have 3 young kids and Thorney Road is impossible to walk along safely with steep banks a fast traffic.

It would also link to the bus stop.
