Our annual Race Night is always such a great night and it’s all for a brilliant local cause — Shap Football Club ⚽❤️

🏇 RACE NIGHT – HORSES & JOCKEYS STILL FOR SALE! 🏇

Our annual Race Night is getting closer and we’ve still got horses and jockeys available to buy until this Sunday.

🐴 Name & own your own horse – £3
🏇 Jockey – £2

This year you get to choose the name of your horse, which should make for plenty of laughs on the night! 😂
Please keep names family-friendly.

There’ll be prizes for the winners, and most importantly, all money raised is going to Shap Football Club ⚽❤️

Please call into the pub before Sunday to buy yours and help us fill the remaining races.

We’re so excited for our annual Race Night on Saturday 10th October 2026 🏇🎉

This year we’ve got horses for sale, and for £3.00 you can own a horse and name it yourself!
Jockeys are £2.00 each, and there will be prizes on the night for our winners 🏆 call in now to buy yours.

We’re also looking for local businesses who may be able to sponsor a race for £50.
