As some of you may know I'm not a local lass until more recent years but my ties to Paisley go back well over 100 years when my grandpa the Rev David Soutar did his minister training at the Abbey. A few weeks ago a very good friend of mine who helps me with my family history popped in to see us and literally took a trip down memory lane himself. The photo below is Mick Mcnulty in Well St with his mum in 1954. Micks family are all Paisley Buddies and his uncle lived across the road from our wee coffee shop. History is fantastic... especially when you can actually see it for real 😍
