So…the last hurrah…this Saturday .coffee.co

We have a winning concoction to bow out to this Saturday as the last day in the current location is pending on 25th Feb.

We have Mr Salsa dancer David and his delicious pizza dough of in house Saturday between 10am and 3pm…with a soundtrack by .andy kicking out the beats.

Once the pizza oven has cooled and been towed away I will be opening a beer or two come 7pm…and welcome anyone who wants to stop by to join. BYOB 🍻

With that, we will be welcoming and his Ruby red classic Bay window VW camper van of equipped with photo booth and associated fancy dress items so everyone can grab a pic so we can make some lasting memories …

TOMORROW!!! … the penultimate Saturday and the final retro rides day n current location

With less than two weeks to go until I shut those shutters for the final time…we have the grand finale of retro rides day…one of my favourite self indulgences.

We have this fine classic American Ford on site all day with the beats pumping courtesy of Mitch of and finishing the day with a professional photoshoot by as part of winning best in cruise at our charity drive out a few weeks back. Once has worked his magic in the editing suit, we’ll show you the fruits of his talented labour 👌.

As per, our premium Columbian beans roasted in Bristol at and to accompany, why not treat yourself to a fresh pastry or a sweet treat by or …you could potentially be considered silly not to…

So let’s make the penultimate weekend of .coffee.co a fun one.

If it’s old skool n cool … bring it along so we can drool.

Soooo…sadly, the FEBRUARY FINALE is just that…with my final day before packing away and rolling out the HY van being the 25th Feb.

This wasn’t in my plans for 2025 but as John Lennon famously said…’life is what happens when you’re busy making other plans’.

It’s been a mostly fun rollercoaster ride, and that’s what it is…anyone who has taken the leap of faith into self employment and independent business ownership will know. Highs…lows…everything in between.

It’s just under 3 years since I gave up a regular income to go it alone and begin a dream I’d had for years…and with what was a big gamble. And it has been very, very special. Of course, things didn’t turn out quite like as imagined or planned. But it surpassed all my expectations and hopes. With the initial help of Kev of Kevils Speed Shop sub-letting the space aside the custom motorcycle garage and converting a HY van in preparation for the dream Rocket Espresso coffee machine (whilst I piled a frightful percentage of my savings into it). I often thought to myself, ‘if ten year old me could see me now’…surrounded by (half) of my cherished collection of cruiser by bikes, custom motorcycles, my tunes, doggos, classic cars stopping by the vibrantly graffitied garage unit and lovely people showing their support and encouragement and trusting my rekindled my admittedly basic barista skills for their caffeine fix. But it built beautifully…

Anyways…’all good things come to an end’, as someone else must’ve quoted once. And I’d like to add, I’m not having to leave as a result of financial or mis-management issues…

There will be activity continuing on my socials including the ride outs, sea dips, car meets, charity events and the launch of a new, just for fun Custom Coffee RC car club, cos I’m not going to grow up anytime soon, am I?…

THANK YOU so much to all that have supported, helped and encouraged in every way you have with what has undoubtedly been one of the best and biggest decisions / gambles / leaps of faith and im proud to say, successes of my life to date 🤍

I will miss it a lot 🤍

Tomorrow we have the ‘return of the Mat’ from offering to check over your bicycle and fix and problems for FREEEEEE!

If he can’t fix them for FREEEEEEE … he will offer the friendliest advice on what is required and then it’s up to you!

He’ll be there drinking americanos and trying to resist cake from 10-2…and I’ll be there from 9-3 pushing coffee and cake on him.

Calling all retro rides…VWs, vans / campervans (new or old), American vehicles, motorcycles and any other rare rides…we gonna have ourselves a cool old convoy!

We thought it’d be nice to have something to look forward to in January…

£10 minimal donation per vehicle (please) helping us to continue our regular and varied list of charity fundraising efforts in aid of Pancreatic Cancer.

Here’s the plan…

10am meet at ***PAIGNTON SEAFRONT LEFT OF PIER***.

10.30(ish) depart and convoy through Paignton along the seafront.

11.30(ish) arrive at Buckfastleigh steam railway station cafe for breaky, brunch, cream teas, pasties and general mingling.

14.00 (ish) depart and disperse

There will be a raffle and prizes for best fancy dressed adult, kids & dog!

And one special prize for the best vehicle in convoy…all we need now is the weather to be kind to us…🤞

Sooo, now that’s out the way … onto a classy and fun looking January for 2025…

4th - coffee n chill

11th - retro rides - we have an ultra special show car booked for this weekend - you’ve got to see it to believe it - if you’ve got something old that rolls - it’s the day to bring it by

15th - Rockfish Ride out - 6pm from the shop

18th - Mat from will be in offering free bike fixes and advice with his free bike health checks

19th - Custom Coffees first charity vehicle cruise out - join the convoy and help raise some money for pancreatic cancer - check our Facebook event for more info

25th - Pizza pizza pizza! David returns with his popular freshly made pizza in house served from his specially converted and graffitied horse box
