The Castle, Oxford

Thatchers Gold has joined the taps at The Castle. 🔥 We’re expecting it to sit very comfortably beside a pie or fish and chips, although nobody will object if you order it on its own. 🍻

We took home The Phoenix Award from the Hooky Awards 2026! ❤️🥂🎉
A pub is only as good as the people who keep it going, so this belongs to the whole Castle team and, in a very real sense, to everyone who uses The Castle as their local, recommends us to friends and got behind us during the awards. We’re extremely proud of this one.

Thank you to Hook Norton Brewery, and thank you, Oxford. Come and raise a glass with the team this week.

It doesn't feel like you're right in the centre of Oxford. That's the feedback that we consistently receive. 😁 Stop by if you also feel like escaping the crowds for a bit.

I'll take care of the dripping sauce, don't worry. Not a single drop will go to waste. 👅
