Overstrand beach, something of a quiet hidden gem just east of Cromer, has perfect beach conditions today, with the tide out and a gentle easterly breeze lowering temperatures.

While you are here our container is very much open with great cake, proper coffee and iced drinks.

We're finally wrapping up our half term week here on the North Norfolk coast.and we've enjoyed that rare combination of great weather and plenty of lovely customers.

We're signing off with a new dog of the week, so here's Vinny who's 10 today, happy birthday Vinny and we hope you enjoyed our first ever pup cup!

It's looking like a calm sea day here on Overstrand beach, plus no on shore wind, the sun is out and the tide is heading in the right direction.

Come 10am there will be plenty of beach, which is when we open, so suns out, buns out! (Plus iced drinks, great coffee and a delicious range of home bakes).

We had one of our busiest days so far today and shall be back tomorrow and right through the half term as long as the fantastic weather holds.
