Martin Middlemiss from Geo middlemiss butchers receives their inaugural Made in Otley award from Otley Town Mayor Cllr Paul Carter and Mayoress Denise Nugent at the first Made in Otley awards held at Secret Garden Cafe on Friday March 27.

Geo. Middlemiss & Son, a long-established family business representing generations of craftsmanship and a deep-rooted connection to Otley’s heritage.

The Made in Otley initiative, developed by the Town Mayor and delivered in partnership with Otley Town Council, saw sixteen local businesses and craftspeople recognised at a relaxed and informal gathering at the Westgate café.

Made in Otley was created to celebrate the businesses that don’t just operate in the town, but actively design and produce here — shining a light on the skill, creativity and enterprise that define Otley at its best.
