I feel so honoured, Rachel from Rachell’s Cake School asked if she could put one of my bouquets, on her Instagram story. Of course I said yes. Lots of my flowers that I use are learned from buying her online tutorials. If you ever fancy giving this a go I would highly recommend her online courses. They are very cost effective, as you can buy individual flower tutorials. In them she shares her buttercream recipe by pdf, tips and colours used, along with a clear and descriptive demonstration of how to pipe each part of the flower.
I must admit, I am addicted to buying them and have loads that I’ve bought and not yet had time to try.
As someone who used to be ranked bottom or next to bottom in art classes at school, I’ve always steered away from this subject ( except when I was teaching 5/6/7 year olds as my art was about that level).
I’m proud of how far my skills have come in the past couple of years. It just shows, with the right teachers, anything is possible and if I can, anyone can.

This is a selection of 12 cupcake bouquets, which make lovely little gifts. I’m going to pin this post to the top of my page as it will keep them all in one place and I can point people towards this post when they are trying to decide, rather than them having to scroll through the whole of my page. The same flowers 🌺 and colours can also be used as a basis to make 7 bouquets or for larger bouquets 💐.

A lovely returning customer ordered this 16 number box and heart shape box for two family members with birthdays this weekend. Fractal periwinkle was used to create the blues. Blue can be very difficult to, due to the yellow of the buttercream, making it greenish. This brand is brilliant.

In my house, it’s officially autumn 🍂. The autumn ornaments have come down from the loft. The heating has been put on and I piped my first pumpkin 🎃 of the year for this little box of cupcakes in autumn colours.
I like so much about this time of year, apart from the fear of 🕷️. Thankfully so far so good 🤞 that continues. Hopefully they have all gone to my parents ( who live on the same street) as apparently they had a whopper last week 😬.
