A Lovely Catch-Up at Our Carers Cafe ☕️💚

We had a really lovely catch-up with Denise today at our Carers Cafe at The Farm Burscough.

One of the things we enjoy most about the Carers Cafe is having the opportunity to sit down with carers, share a brew, and hear about everything they’ve been up to since our last get-together.

Caring for a loved one can be both rewarding and challenging, so having a space where carers can connect, chat, and support one another is so important.

These conversations remind us why our Carers Cafe is such a valuable part of the community, offering friendship, understanding, and a chance for carers to take a little time for themselves.

If you're an unpaid carer and would like to meet others in a similar situation, we'd love to welcome you to one of our future sessions.

Everyone is welcome to join us for our friendly and relaxed Carers Café, taking place on a different date from our usual second Thursday of the month.

Hosted in partnership with The Farm Burscough, the café is a welcoming space for local carers, their loved ones, family members and anyone who would like to learn more about the support available in the community.

It is with great sadness that we share the news that our dear friend and former colleague, Sue Graff, has passed away after a period of illness.

Sue was a valued member of our team for many years and became much more than a colleague—she was part of our family. She worked tirelessly, always with a smile, and was loved and respected by customers and staff alike. Many of you will have fond memories of Sue from your visits over the years, and we’re sure you’ll remember her kindness, warmth, and dedication.

Our thoughts are with Sue’s family and friends at this incredibly difficult time. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Rest in peace, Sue. You will never be forgotten. ❤️
