📢 Please Note 📢

We have maintenance work happening today at the back of the cafe and up to the collection window, which will be happening all day. Throughout the works we will not be using the collection window and we advise all customers and park users to avoid the back of the cafe and around the collection window areas whilst this is in progress. For safety reasons please keep an extra eye on your little ones whilst using the park and also keep all dogs on leads around the cafe.

As always please do not park on the street - our overflow car park will be open so follow the instructions of our car park marshals! 🅿️

Please seed yourself at our start according to our signs - listen to the run brief and thank all the volunteers who are awesome! 🙌

The Brierley Cafe will be open for drinks, food and ice creams! 🍦

☀️ With the warm weather and children off school this week, we want to remind everyone about the dangers of open water.

Rivers, lakes, canals and reservoirs may look inviting in the sunshine, but they are extremely dangerous and are NOT safe places to swim or play. Cold water shock, strong currents, hidden objects and deep water can quickly turn a fun day into a tragedy.

Please speak to your children about the risks and help keep them safe this week.

✅ Stay away from the edges of rivers and canals
✅ Never jump into unknown water
✅ Avoid swimming in unsupervised open water
✅ If someone gets into trouble, call 999 and ask for Fire & Rescue

Enjoy the sunshine safely and look out for one another. 🚒
