In 2008, nestled away in the city of Nottingham, we opened Yamas - inspired by our childhood in a Greek Cypriot household. At home, we always put plates and plates of mouthwatering meze in the centre of the table, so everyone can tuck in and enjoy. We created this restaurant to encourage that same family style of dining across a new audience in the cite centre - following in our father’s footsteps

and bringing the joy of sharing food and laughter around a table to you.

“Yamas” means “cheers” in Greek, so we invite you to raise a glass and spend a couple hours around a table full of tasty, authentic Mediterranean dishes.
