The Walled Garden Shop at Plumstead We are a community shop, café and Victorian Walled Garden in Little Plumstead, Norfolk Our community shop and cafe opened on the 5th October 2020.

Happy 6th Birthday to The Walled Garden Community Shop & Cafe!

It is incredible to look back at how far this amazing local project has come since opening its doors in October 2020.

Six years later, the garden has matured beautifully, and we’ve grown into a thriving haven for both people and wildlife. We couldn’t have hit this milestone without the incredible hard work of our volunteers, our local suppliers, and everyone who has dropped by for a slice of cake, a walk through our garden, or one of our community groups.

Here’s to many more years of blooming memories, community spirit, and great coffee! ☕🍰🌻

The garden volunteers have been working exceptionally hard the past few weeks to prepare for our annual Autumn Fayre and Plant Sale.
Huge thanks to the whole team for their preparation, making sure we have a wonderful day tomorrow for the community to enjoy.
Pop along and see us between 10am-3pm where we will have a huge plant sale, live music, delicious treats and a gardeners question time at 12noon.
All proceeds will go to The Walled Garden to ensure we continue to offer a unique and relaxing place to visit and enjoy.

Ask the experts at our Gardeners Question Time from 12noon with our very own Head Gardener Richard Hobbs and the Radio Norfolk Garden Party team.

Our floral group tutored by the brilliant volunteer floral expert Linda Knights are learning to create the most stunning work.
Whilst this class is now full there are other ways to learn.
