HOW DO I GET TO THE PUB FOR MUTTONSTOCK?
With MuttonStock nearly here, you may be thinking about coming out to see us but wondering where on earth Strumpshaw actually is…
First option — Google Maps is your friend!
Pop in our postcode NR13 4NT & let Google do the talking.
If Google Maps isn’t your friend, here’s the rough guide:
BY TRAIN
Brundall Station – around 1.4 miles from the pub.
Walk up Station Road, turn right onto Strumpshaw Road and keep going for about a mile. The pub will be on your left.
You will be walking UP the hill!
Lingwood Station – around 1.1 miles from the pub.
Head onto Station Road, turn right onto Norwich Road & keep walking until you see us on the right.
This way you get to walk DOWN the hill!
BY BUS
The 16 bus runs roughly hourly from Norwich @ stops outside the pub. Even better!
BY BIKE
We’re easily reachable by bike, with cycle routes running through the surrounding area. Pop NR13 4NT into your maps and it’ll bring you straight to us.
BY CAR
From Norwich or Great Yarmouth, the easiest route is via Brundall, just off the A47.
Drive through Brundall and continue towards Strumpshaw. Once you’ve passed the Strumpshaw sign, stay on the same road, follow it through the bends & The Shoulder of Mutton will be on your left.
We have a car park, but with a busy weekend ahead please park considerately if the car park is full & be mindful of our neighbours.
