We have served the Wensum Lodge College and the local community for over 30 years. The building is owned by the Norwich City Council however the bar is run independently. Our prices are kept low by the membership subs paid by our members (Membership subs were waived from the year 2015-2016 onward in order to encourage the loyalty of new members). ry, 2-3 very reasonably priced single malt whiskeys supplied by The Whiskey Shop, and we also have an extensive selection of hot and cold beverages and sweet and savory snacks. On Friday nights we host "The Music House Acoustic(ish) Session". On the first Wednesday of every month there is a Storytelling event and on the third Thursday of most months there is a Comedy night. On the third Saturday of the month we host Cave In - a much loved retro psychedelic disco featuring underground tracks from the 1960s. All these events are free to attend however we do encourage voluntary donations towards event's running costs, maintenance of equipment and performer expenses. Other meetings, performances and events take place - ask staff for details or keep following us here! We are closed during school Christmas, Easter and Summer Holidays and during Bank Holidays.
