Hi everyone. Just a quick message to the good folk of Weaverham especially our regular customers. We have not been able to open our doors again and are not likely to for the foreseeable I'm afraid. However I am still hopeful that someone will pick up where we left off. There has been some interesting enquiries but if you or anyone you know is interested this would be a very reasonably priced start up. Hi everyone, as a further notification to our last post regarding our impending closure. It was always my intention to wind down over the next couple of weeks with a definite end date. Unfortunately one or two things are happening which is making it difficult to say when we will or will not be open. To that end it looks like tomorrow will be our last confirmed day of normal opening and next week will be our last if we can do it at all.
I will keep you posted regarding any potential re-opening so please bare with us. Once again thank you Weaverham.

It is with great sadness that I have to make the following announcement. We have for some time now, as some of our regular customers are aware, been involved in a fight with the HMRC due to some accounting 'anomalies' that pre date my time here. Unfortunately we have lost that fight and have been left with no choice other than to cease trading as imposed penalties are accumulating.
This is particularly devastating for the team coming on the back of our success and even a nomination for 'Best small cafe in Cheshire' which is quite an achievement in our first year.
The good people of Weaverham have welcomed us into the community with open arms and honestly, I have come to feel like an adoptive son of the village and it has been nothing short of a privilege to serve you.
Ideally I would love to pass this on to someone who could continue our good work and give it the time it deserves but realistically that is unlikely. Having said that if you know anyone call me.
Once again it has been a privilege and Weaverham will always have a special place in my heart, I will miss the chats and friendly banter I have experienced on a daily basis, thank you Weaverham.

Hi everyone, have to let you know that we will not be opening this Thursday or Friday. Due to an unfortunate coming together of holidays, appointments and other commitments we are unable to staff these two days. We are sorry if you had planned a visit but rest assured we will be opening as normal for the weekend. Thank you for your understanding and we will see you soon.

Welcome to 2023 everyone, it's going to be a good one.
We are starting our new year with a soup of the day choice. We have a thick Tomato and Mascarpone with gluten free option or Hearty chicken and vegetable, unfortunately not available gluten free but very welcoming on these cold winter days.
