🤍My Final Wedding Cake set up 🤍

This was a really bittersweet process to be honest. I’ve been in a really strange headspace and this went far from flawlessly 🫠 but overall I was pleased with how it turned out once I had all the flowers on and charm etc.

It’s almost like I had a compete crisis of confidence 🤦🏼‍♀️ so not quite the high I wanted to end on but I also wanted to be transparent and real as I could have come on and said everything was fine when in reality this really wasn’t the case.

The bride and groom loved it so this is all that really matters 🤍

Thank you once again to all my past clients and clients who have became friends along the way!

I may still keep posting home bakes and my family and friends might even start getting proper birthday cakes instead of cut offs for their birthdays 😂

It has been extremely hard to make this decision and I have been going backwards and forwards for the last month asking myself whether it’s the right thing to do.

With the constant rise in ingredients prices,cost of living,my own recent health issues and also having a young family to look after I have reluctantly decided to put Sophies Icing Delights on hold for the foreseeable.

I absolutely love creating cakes for all of my lovely customers but I have to be selfish and choose my own mental health and this means giving myself some head space,financial stability,time for my family and still have time to give myself some grace when needed.

All orders that I have in my diary will of course go ahead but I will be closing my diary with immediate effect.

I really hope you can understand my decision and I thank all of my customers from the bottom of my heart for putting your trust in me to be part of your events and key moments!

Maybe I will be back at some point in the future but at the moment I know this is the right thing to do 🤍
