Believed to have been an alehouse for over 400 years it's the oldest pub in the area. Now a free house with 5 guest ales always pouring

3 rooms make up the public area;

The bar area in the central room is the heart of the pub with that traditional pub feel and a friendly welcome waiting
In the Music room you'll find Monday's are Bongo Bob's Buskers night, Thursday acoustic music, Saturday & Sundays from 9 regulars play. Or you can cosy up in the snug for some peace with the real fire place for winter :)

Our pub has socially pro-active regulars with staged plays, local art on display available for purchase and many interesting locals to chat to. Real Ale Available
