I caught up with Kerrie, project leader of this week to find out about their beach cleaning work and what the donations from our single use coffee cup charges are going towards. So far we have raised £468 through these charges.

By bringing their own reusable cups our customers are saving 500 single use cups per month from going into landfill. In Scotland we get through 388.7 million ‘disposable’ cups per year - we should be asking ourselves where these cups end up when we throw them away.

We are so grateful for the support of our regular customers in embracing our deposit cup scheme with and in remembering your reusable cups.

That’s us closed now for Christmas.

Thank you so much to everyone who has enjoyed coffee with us this year - here in NB or via online. We are ever so grateful for your support.

Thank you also to all our customers today who brought such great festive cheer and were so patient despite our busyness. And above all thanks to our wonderful team who have worked very hard to bring not only great coffee but also true hospitality to all of our visitors.

Now we can all rest!
