Last week was a sobering reminder of how powerful the sea can be, with seven tragic fatalities recorded across UK waters.

Our incredible RNLI North Berwick Lifeboat crew had a grueling week with four separate shouts. We can never thank these volunteers enough for risking their own lives to keep the rest of us safe.

As a small token of our immense appreciation, we welcomed the crew into The Rocketeer Restaurant for some well-deserved free bacon rolls and hot coffees. It’s the least we could do to fuel the heroes who look after our coastline.

Please, if you are heading out on or near the water, take extra care, check the tides, and respect the water.
