It’s been a minute and I hope everyone is okay!

Us at Creeping thyme have missed inviting everyone to our own doors for a while but has been a mad push getting ready for the season over at Kenton with some big changes been happening.

I do hope to put out news of a pop ups at some point but as it stands at the moment no date is confirmed and I’ve been a little pre occupied (hopefully will calm down when fully settled)

The last Full week!

This is the last full week including a weekend of Creeping thyme at seale hayne, we still have a few tables available across each of our last days with only 7 days open remaining so please get over to our booking system and reserve your table now.

The more it looms onto me that a week tomorrow will be our last service here really feels strange but what me and the team have achieved in such a small period really is amazing and I can’t thank everyone enough for making my dream a reality.

We are down to single digits of shifts remaining at our beautiful space in Seale hayne.

But don’t all be too sad…. Because until our last service on Friday the 28th drinks are still flowing and me and River have been cooking up a storm ( just read the fantastic reviews we’ve had lately)

We’ve been full for about 2 weeks now!

A couple reviews from this week, though we haven’t got long left (and I can’t tell you what the menu will be in advance) we still want to make sure we are providing the best food and service that we can!

We’ve had some really amazing reviews across our 4 years of restaurant ownership and there’s no better feeling than looking through and reflecting on the amazing support our customers have given over the years.

As the 28th is approaching quicker than I’d like, we will be hosting Rhythm and shoes on our final evening from 8 o clock, they played a few times for us at bovey but this is there first time playing at SH.

Even if not dining with us why not pop up for a final drink to celebrate 🍾

Tomorrow marks exactly a month till our last trading day, bookings have been steady so we do recommend booking asap to avoid missing out on a table before we leave.

Food pics are a bit thin at the moment sorry guys!

Unfortunately i cannot give an update on menus in advance for the time being as we are trying to create dishes from our raw ingredients from our dry store ect so you may need to trust me and River a little I promise we have some nice dishes but what they are I’m not too sure.

Meanwhile spaces are filling up for our valentines breakfast/evening, so if you want to reserve your space get over to our booking system.

Sadly this weekend our beautiful baby grand is going to its new forever home, the piano is one of my favourite things in the restaurant and it’s a very sad moment.

One of the best things, has been when we’ve had musical customers in that play a little tune with the sound of live music floating through the old hallways of seale hayne.

But the show must go on, on a less sad note 🎵 we still have a little while until the doors of creeping thyme are shut.

We will be hosting rhythm and shoes on our last ever service on Friday 28th February, we will be running a normal evening menu, but feel free to pop up have a last beer or cocktail at creeping thyme and enjoy the send off with us 🥂
