The World Cup has got off to a cracking start with England and Scotland both opening their campaigns with victories! 🏴⚽🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Scotland will be looking to secure qualification from the group stage when they take on Morocco at 11pm tonight, while all of our Australian family and friends will be cheering on the Socceroos at 8pm this evening. 🇦🇺🍻
💰Wednesday we helped raise a further £226 for Crantock Rowing Club ..well done to Rob Giles for organising 💰

“Getting to know you, getting to know all about you…Getting to like you, getting to hope you like me…”

As we prepare to celebrate Frank’s life on Tuesday, we can’t help but think of one of his favourite songs and the words that suited him so well.

Because that’s exactly what Frank did. He had a gift for making people feel welcome, making conversation, sharing a laugh and turning strangers into friends.

On Tuesday, from 2.30pm, we’ll come together to share memories, raise a glass and celebrate a man who meant so much to so many.
❤️Please note the kitchen will be closed Tuesday from 2.30pm-4pm❤️

Our thoughts are with Frank’s family and friends. He will be greatly missed, fondly remembered, and never forgotten.

Passed away peacefully on Friday 22nd May 2026. Frank aged 69 years of Crantock, a beloved husband, father and grandfather. So sadly missed by all of his family and friends. His funeral service will be held at Crantock Parish Church on Tuesday 9th June 2026 at 2.30pm. Family flowers only but donat

What a day to be Cornish. ☀️🖤🤍

As we mark the 82nd Anniversary of D-Day, we pause to remember the courage, sacrifice and service of those who fought for our freedom.

Lest We Forget.

Today has also been a day of tremendous Cornish pride. Congratulations to our Cornwall Men and Cornwall Women on their fantastic championship victories – a brilliant achievement for Cornish rugby and the Trelawny Army.

While the Royal Cornwall Show may have been cancelled, the weather has certainly had the last word, with blue skies now stretching across Crantock and the North Cornish coast.

England v New Zealand, live on our big screens from 9pm today with food served until 8.30pm

And don’t forget, our famous Sunday Lunches are served tomorrow from 12 noon until 8.30pm – the perfect way to round off a great Cornish weekend.

What a start to the day with this stunning sunrise at 5:30am lighting up the village in shades of pink and gold. And the good news? The sunshine is still with us! ☀️

🍽️ Sunday Roasts are being served until 5:30pm, with all your favourite Sunday classics fresh from the kitchen.

🍔🍕 After that, our Sunday Menu is available until 8:30pm, including burgers, pizzas, loaded fries and desserts.
