Well… this was a lovely surprise! 🥰

We’ve just found out that Dragon Soul has been awarded “Recommended 2026” by Restaurant Guru! 🎉

We honestly weren’t expecting this at all, which makes it even more special.

Dragon Soul has always been about more than just coffee, cakes and food — it’s about atmosphere, friendship, community and creating a place where everyone feels welcome.

So to see our little café recognised like this really means a lot to us. 🧡

A huge thank you to every single person who has visited us, supported us, left a review, recommended us to friends or simply kept coming back.

You already know we’ve been working hard with our new coffee machine and getting those barista coffees just right… and now we’ve added something special for the tea lovers too.

Our new little Tea Station is ready, with a lovely selection of fresh loose-leaf teas for anyone who enjoys a proper pot of tea and likes to take their time over it. ☕🫖

So whether you’re team coffee or team tea, we’ve got you covered. 😁

And if you are planning your weekend, The Magpies Duo
our much-loved Tony & Martin will be back with us on Friday for another cosy night of live music and good company 🎸🎶🧡

If you have a Bike & Brew Passport, bring it along to Dragon Soul and get your stamps logged. Ian will be here from 10am ready to welcome you. Pop in, grab a coffee, get your passport sorted and enjoy a little catch-up while you’re here. ☕🏍️

It’s Friday… and it’s tea time! 🫖☕️

At Dragon Soul you can enjoy not only a lovely hot coffee, but also a proper loose-leaf tea served in a pot. What could be better on a cosy Friday afternoon? 🧡

But that’s during the day… because by the evening you can swap the teapot for a pint or a glass of w**e and settle in for a great atmosphere and live music with Bob Gessey. 🎸🎤🎶

Coffee, tea, cake, a drink with friends or a bit of live music - whatever you choose, we’re always happy to see you. 🧡

Our new coffee machine definitely requires a bit more practice… but the results are absolutely worth it! ☕🧡

Making proper barista coffee is a whole different skill - from getting the grind right to steaming the milk properly for each drink😍 But the most important thing is… the coffee tastes fantastic! 😍
And we’ve already had some lovely feedback from customers noticing the difference.

A few more coffees, and we’ll all be professionals soon 😁☕✨

The weather has been absolutely lovely, and we’re really hoping these warm September days stay with us a little longer. ☀️🧡

This week we’ve got all the things we love most waiting for you - good moods, great coffee, Estonian cakes, friendly chats and plenty of reasons to pop in and stay a while. ☕🍰

🎶 🥂🍻Friday evening - Mixed Bill with Ozzy
A lovely mix of performers, familiar faces, good music and that relaxed Friday-night atmosphere we all enjoy so much.

🎨 Saturday - Creative Class with Alice
This Saturday’s class is now fully booked - thank you so much to everyone who reserved a place🙏

Those joining Alice this week will be trying oil painting on canvas, and we can’t wait to see what everyone creates. 🖌️🖼️

If you missed out this time, don’t worry - Alice’s next class will be on Saturday 17th October (only one in October) Booking will be available very soon, so keep an eye out for the link.
