The Glade Cafe

☕️🍂 A dry Saturday at The Glade! 🍂☕️

The weather is staying dry today, so why not get out of the house, enjoy some fresh air and pop down to The Glade Café at Rogerstone Welfare Grounds? 🙌

We’ve got plenty of hot drinks, cold drinks, snacks and food available throughout the day. ☕️🥓🍔

And… is it finally time to start ordering hot chocolates again? 👀🍫☕️ We think October means the answer is definitely YES!

There’s plenty going on around the grounds too, with Rogerstone AFC taking on Albion Rovers at 2:30pm this afternoon ⚽️ — so you can grab something from the café and enjoy a bit of local football while you’re here.

⚽️🖤 FOOTBALL IS BACK AT THE WELFARE! 🖤⚽️

With Saturday and Sunday football now starting back down at Rogerstone Welfare Grounds, we wanted to continue showing our support for Rogerstone Rangers JFC — and hopefully help with those cold hands and empty bellies on match days! 🥶☕️🥓

We’re delighted to be Official Café Partners of Rogerstone Rangers JFC and, from now on, players and parents can enjoy 10% OFF at The Glade on match days. 🙌

Simply pop up to the café and let our team know you’re a Rangers player/parent, or come along wearing a piece of Rogerstone Rangers teamwear, and we’ll take 10% off your order. ⚽️

So whether it’s a hot chocolate to warm you up, a coffee to get you through the early kick-off ☕️, or a bacon roll after the game 🥓… we’ve got you covered!

We’re really proud to support our local junior football club and all the players, coaches, parents and volunteers who give up their weekends to make it happen. 🖤🤍

Good luck to all the Rangers teams for the season ahead! ⚽️🏆

Tag a parent who’s regularly down The Welfare in the winter, and will appreciate this discount. 💚👊

Autumn Opening Hours 🍂

When the weather changes, things get very quiet for us, but we know that some still like to come and grab a coffee or some lunch and enjoy the beautiful Welfare Grounds. Don’t forget we do have our undercover seating area so still space for you to enjoy even if it is raining.

Here are our opening times for the next couple of months at least. When the clocks go forward in October we will close slightly earlier but will update our pages when we do so.

Please keep continuing to support us whether you visit here at The Glade, The Hatch at Waunfawr Park or our newest venture at Jungle Play at Newport Market - it doesn’t go unnoticed! 🥰💚
