The staff table is something that’s a very important part of our culture here at 21 Hospitality.
At 11.30am each day we sit together to take a little respite from the day’s preparations, take on some sustenance ready for the busy day ahead, learn about what’s new and what’s special - plus get to grips with who’s arriving and when...........Then of course we catch up on the gossip.
The staff table has always been a place for nourishment, for conversation for learning and for team-ship. Now, it also gets competitive!
This weekend we launched the 21 Hospitality Staff Lunch World Cup. 16 chefs have entered the group stage of the competition and are tasked with researching the cuisine of their designated nation and, using what they’ve learned, will prepare a delicious lunch for 24 of their colleagues.
The 8 highest scorers will progress to the knockout stages which culminates in a grand final on Saturday 18th July.
