We are the only cafe in Heaton that have and use our very own milk dispenser for all of our in house dairy refills to keep our plastic usage to a minimum. Not to mention it’s also a fantastic sensory experience the tallest and smallest of our Perky people. ❤️

So come along and drink up or bring a bottle along and see what all the fuss is about! ☕️

🍂 Is it just us or is that a hint of crispness in the air today? 🍂

Don’t know about you lot but we are ready to welcome in all things autumnal and transitional. As autumn is the season of change we are following suit and implementing some small changes in our beloved Perk.

⭐️For the time being our disco kitchen will be closed, so no hot food (for now) but fear not for your hungry tummies will still be able to feast upon such delights as our house made sarnies and cakes!! Great for a grab and go option if your perkin‘ on your way to werkin‘ or just as good enjoyed in-house with a brew!

The options will be regularly changing to keep those tastebuds tantalised and when they are gone they are gone but if you have any faves then do keep us posted! As you can see, its already catching the eyes of our littlest customers. 👀

We may be getting ahead of ourselves but we’re getting ready for autumn…..PECAN & SWEET POTATO MUFFINS with a maple + pumpkin spice buttercream frosting 😍😌🍂 and you can add a nice cup of hot homemade chai. Yum. We are open all weekend 9.30 - 3pm !!! ☕️

Anyone else know where their heads are at during a heatwave in the UK? Nar? Us neither but let’s support eachother!

Make yourself comfy in our wee Yarden, bring your sun cream and we can take care of keeping you fed and hydrated! 💦

We have everything iced and all the snacks and cakes. This pretty little thing is a heaton foraged blackberry, lemon and thyme cake and it’s an absolute 10/10 would munch again!!!

Crack out the champers and microwave some popcorn cause Heaton Perk is getting papped. A lovely team from BBC Three have asked to use our gorgeous cafe to film so we‘ll be closed to the public on Thursday and Friday this week. Back in business from Saturday and we promise we won’t let the game go to our heads ⚡️

holy moly it is HOT HOT HOT today and we are serving COLD COLD COLD drinks and scran to keep you cool 🔥🧊 our normal hot food menu is off today but we have some nice cool summer specials to keep you going including this pesto cream cheese, parma ham, rocket & hot honey on sourdough toast!

Heaton Perk family (and friends) of 2025! As you can probably tell, we are all a bit obsessed with eachother over at the perk. We are so lucky and proud to have cultivated the community that we have and we shall shout it from the rooftops!

On a super important note, our Zoë () had her final shift with us today before she goes solo as a full-time superstar artist! We'll miss her lots.

We love you girl! 🌟🫶💗

HOLY MOLY not one but TWO summer drink specials this week conjured up by wor Charlie ❤️ watermelon & raspberry cooler and a hong-kong style iced tea. Both refreshing and delicious for the hot weather this week. 🥵☀️
