Harvey Mayson just been in touch to say he’s come across this and restoring it to its former glory. They were originally from the Middlesbrough factory in the early 1900’s and used right up to the end when we closed in Newcastle in 2018. It’s now in Lanarkshire, South West Scotland. It’s going to be used a plant pot in his garden

I work at Rea's Ices in Newcastle , a lad called Colin Young got me a job there . He is the production manager for the boss Carlo Rea . He is the best man with facts and figures I know and i've worked with a lot of intelligent people. He his as sharp as a tack when it comes to anyone taking liberties with prices etc. Today he celebrates 40 years , yes FORTY in his job here. I'll say this for everyone at the factory and our customers , we would all be worse off without him.
