We had a lovely surprise visit from Sicily! 🥰
🍷 Barbara, the export manager of Cantine Fina, came to the bistro to say hello and to introduce some new wines, escorted by Stefano, our Italian food supplier representative.

Cantine Fina is one of our Sicilian winemakers, a family business, producer of great wines, like the wonderful Kikè available on our online shop lasicilyanawines.co.uk 🥂

Of course, we were very happy to see Barbara and delighted to do the tasting! 10 out of 10!😋

Happy Friday everyone! 😄

We had a really wonderful Thursday evening at our bistro with the Wine and Dine event in collaboration with 63 Tay Street Fine Restaurant in Perth.

Chef Fraser created a wonderful and delicious 4 course menu for our guests, paired it with 3 great Sicilian wines by Cantine De Gregorio, Cantine Patria and Casa Grazia, to finish with a dessert liqueur from the Italian Alps.

🥰 THANK YOU to all the lovely people who shared such a wonderful evening, full of laughs, friendly chats and happy tummies!

Our team did a great job, both in the kitchen and front of house, and no empty wine glasses 🍷on the tables!

Thank you again to Chef Fraser for the wonderful food, we had a taste in the kitchen and it was absolutely yummy! 😋

We are now ready for another weekend, see you at our bistro! 🇮🇹

Our newly arrived Pistachio gelato is soooo gooood! 😋 🍦
Made with Sicilian pistachios, free of artificial flavours, is quickly becoming one of our most favourite flavours.

🍰 Here is paired with our Ricotta and Pistachio super soft cake, what a perfect, tasty combination!

Hello everyone!
When the bistro is closed Mondays and Tuesdays there is a lot to do behind doors to run La Sicilyana!

But last Monday we decided to take a break from the desk, from meetings, shipping wines, deliveries and so on! 😳

It was a wonderful hot day, 🌞 great for outdoor activities and we spent a rare day working in our garden 🪏

After hours of hard work, we finished the day with home made bruschetta 🇮🇹 and the very last bottle of the finest Spumante Brut nature Ganzo by Cima del Pomer, 🥂sold out at the bistro and online many months ago!

We are fully recharged and ready for another busy week ahead, and look forward to welcoming you at the bistro in Scone for some great food and wines. 🍝🍷

Italian 🇮🇹 Scottish 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Baby shower!!
Congratulations Sicilian Rosanna & Scottish Scott for the coming soon new baby... and it's a girl! 👶

We had the pleasure to host this joyful surprise party, thanks to the couple's friend Julia, and Scott's mum Tracy, who has impeccably decorated our bistro 🥳 for this occasion.
