Lunch at The Nest - New Romney today.

Homemade cheese straw, sausage roll and coleslaw complete with a salad garnish and crisps.

Today’s homemade selection was lovingly made by the wonderful and very talented Renata.

Definitely worth popping in for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea and cake.

As I begin to think about a book launch for the final novel in my Anglo-Saxon series, I am reducing the Pendant Cross and The Sacred Stone. These are at The Nest - New Romney - £15 for the pair.

What a difference! 🌿☕

A huge thank you to the council team for all the work they’ve done cutting back the area around The Nest.

The planting had grown so much that our entrance and sign were hidden from the car park, and getting through to our picnic area was becoming increasingly difficult.

It’s now opened everything up. You can see our entrance again, there’s a clear route through to the picnic area and we can actually see when we have customers enjoying the outside space!

Of course, cutting everything back has revealed quite a bit of litter that had been hiding underneath it all 😳 So our next job is a good litter pick!

We have litter pickers and bags available at The Nest, so if anyone fancies lending a hand tomorrow while they’re out for a walk, you’d be very welcome. Every little bit helps to keep this lovely part of Romney Warren looking its best. 🌿🗑️

Thank you again to the council team, it’s made such a difference and gives us a great starting point for improving the outside of The Nest. ❤️
