The world IS better because YOU are in it.

Not because of what you accomplish.
Not because of how much you get done.
Not because you have it all together.

Because YOU are here.

You are loved. You are needed. Your life has value. And even on the days when your own mind tries to convince you otherwise, please stay.

There are people you haven’t met yet who will be thankful you did. There are laughs you haven’t laughed yet. Memories you haven’t made. Prayers God is still answering.

Stay. Keep going. You Matter. 💜🩵

And if today is heavy - it’s not weak to speak.

WE ARE JANE DOES.

In support of Jane Doe, and every other Jane Doe — we stand together.
Enough is enough. So many women have a story. So many have been assaulted. So many have been r***d. So many have been silenced, doubted, blamed and forced to carry the consequences while the person who hurt them simply carries on with their life. That is not good enough.
Stop only teaching your daughters how to stay safe.
Raise your sons to understand consent. Raise your sons to respect women. Raise your sons to understand that NO means NO. Raise your sons to take responsibility for their actions.
And when they do wrong — hold them accountable.
Being their mother, father, wife, husband, grandparent, friend or carer does not mean protecting them from the consequences of what they have done. We ALL have a responsibility to do better.
Women should not have to change what they wear. Women should not have to watch their drink. Women should not have to text when they get home. Women should not have to clutch their keys between their fingers. Women should not have to live their lives frightened of men.
And men should not be able to r**e women and simply walk away.

This isn’t about hating men. It isn’t about women wanting special treatment.
IT IS ABOUT HUMAN RIGHTS. IT IS ABOUT CONSENT. IT IS ABOUT ACCOUNTABILITY. IT IS ABOUT JUSTICE.

For Jane Doe. For every Jane Doe before her. For every survivor screaming to be heard. And for every survivor who still cannot find the words.
WE SEE YOU. WE BELIEVE YOU. WE STAND WITH YOU.
And we are done being quiet. ❤️

There are things I wish I could tell you, but right now, I simply can’t.
But what I CAN tell you is this…
I am fighting.
And I am not giving up.
In fact, this battle is only just beginning.
The support we have received from complete strangers who have followed my daughter’s case, shared her story, questioned what happened and stood beside us has been overwhelming.
And right now, I need you behind us more than ever.
We need her story shared.
We need her voice heard.
We need people talking, asking questions and refusing to look away.
The verdict happened.
I cannot change that.
But that does NOT mean this is over.
I have now sat in rooms with people who have listened to everything that happened throughout her case.
People who understood the concerns we raised.
People who understood the failings we believe took place.
And people who understood the devastating impact this process has had on my daughter and our family.
I will continue fighting for answers.
I will continue fighting for change.
I will continue raising serious concerns about Section 28 and whether vulnerable victims are truly being given the justice they were promised.
Because this stopped being only about my daughter a long time ago.
This is for every victim who feels failed.
Every traumatised or neurodivergent child whose behaviour doesn’t fit somebody else’s idea of what a “victim” should look like.
Every family who walked away wondering how a system meant to protect them managed to hurt them even more.
Something has to change.
Public awareness matters.
Sharing matters.
Talking matters.
YOUR support matters.
There are things happening that I cannot talk about right now.
But please trust me when I tell you…
I am still here.
I am still fighting.
And I am nowhere near finished.
I made my daughter a promise that I would never stop fighting for her.
I meant it then.
I mean it now.
And I will mean it for as long as I have a voice.
Please stand with us.
Please share her story.
Please help make sure her voice is heard.
We need you now more than ever. 💙🦋

Kill them with kindness

Lead by example, show love, compassion & kindness to others; even if it wasn’t always shown to you. We may not be able to choose or family, environment or situation; but we always have the choice of how we respond. I refuse to let the hurt make me bitter. I’m going to keep going on shining despite the darkness in the world.

Be like Bill 🔥 So many men with an opinion about Lindsay Clancy - yet nothing about Cornell and all the horrific cases of men r@ping, abusing and murdering women. Time for a new kind of justice and accountability. Actions WILL have consequences. You in? 🦁 🦁

☕💙 12 WEEKS OF SRB OFFICIALLY OPEN 💙☕
It’s quite hard to believe that we only opened our doors in July.
Just 12 weeks later, we’re nearly at 1,300 followers on our coffee shop page — but more importantly, we’ve built a little community that I’m incredibly proud of.
We’ve had people from Newhey, Milnrow, Rochdale and the surrounding areas support us from day one, but we’ve also had people from across the UK — and even from other countries — find us online and pop in for a coffee while they were passing through.
That still blows my mind a little bit. 💙
She Remains Brave didn’t actually begin as a coffee shop.
It began as an advocacy page in April.
Then I realised I wanted to turn everything behind SRB into something with an even bigger purpose — somewhere people could physically walk through the door, feel welcome, find community and at the same time help support the advocacy work behind it.
That’s how our little coffee shop became part of the bigger picture.
SRB has also become somewhere people can come and talk, ask for help or simply find out where they can access the right support. Where I can, I’ll advocate, signpost and help people find their way through things that can sometimes feel impossible to navigate alone.
And if I’m completely truthful, every person I’m able to help helps me a little bit too. Turning something incredibly personal into something that can support somebody else has become part of my own journey and my own healing.
Every coffee, breakfast, cake and little treat bought from us helps us keep building what SRB stands for.
People have shared our posts, brought friends in, joined our groups, volunteered, supported our events and helped turn this place into far more than I ever imagined in 12 weeks.
If you want to follow the advocacy side of SRB, you can find that here:

For a little coffee shop that is only 12 weeks old, I think we’re doing alright. 💙
Thank you to every single person who has supported us so far.
We’re only just getting started. 🦋
