Quick recap from the weekend!

Firstly, a huge well done to everyone in The Malbank Bowls Club! Jas W, Rich L, Paul M, Rich D, Gary V, Allan D, Rich W, and Mark C! It was a full house against Haslington Saturday afternoon. With only a few weeks left of the season, we are very excited to see where we end up in the table this year!! Again, congratulations lads!

Our new DJ on Saturday night was incredible. You couldn’t move in here early doors! Well done to all of our brilliant karaoke singers, you all smashed it. Special shoutout to Pete with his special cover of My Way - Frank Sinatra. Safe to a say you had the whole pub in tears, maybe not in the way you’d expect. Our new DJ returns this Saturday 7pm-12am. We can’t wait to see what next weekend brings.

WE START THIS WEEK 🧶

Hello All! I put a feeler out on the Nantwich facebook group last week about beginning a crochet group here at the Malbank. As a trial I have chosen to do two groups, one every Tuesday 2pm-4pm, the other every Thursday 7pm-9pm.

Going forward I will judge on attendance to see whether to keep both or stick to one club a week. Initially I want relaxed crafts, so bring along anything you’re currently working on. If you’re anything like me, this will help keep a dedicated time slot a week to your crafts and keep the progress going!

We will see how it goes, but maybe down the line, some group projects would be ideal. I’m happy to print patterns, or we could purchase crochet kits for everyone to work on all together for a small entry fee to cover the cost.

If you fancy helping lead the club, sharing you skills or have any ideas for future projects please come forward!

Like I said, this is all completely new, so we will find our feet as we go 🤍

Thank you all for the support so far and I will see you some point this week to begin!
