I want to say a massive, heartfelt thank you to all our wonderful local residents and neighbouring businesses who stood by us and supported this battle over the last 48 hours. Following our direct legal push and the formal intervention of our MP, Jonathan Reynolds, National Highways has officially admitted their signage layout lacked clarity and apologized for the disruption.
They have completely backed down and deployed the correct "Businesses Open As Usual" and "No HGVs" signs, pulling back the cones to reopen a clear driving lane for cars!
This is a massive victory for our local village, and access has been fully restored for everyone.
While my business has suffered immensely over the last two weeks, we are determined to climb back up the hill. We are fully open, firing on all cylinders, and absolutely cannot wait to welcome you all back through our doors for a fantastic meal.
