We still have football in the bar from 2pm, Leeds vs Brentford followed by Man Utd vs Ipswich ⚽️

Bank holiday weekend is nearly upon us!

We have two fantastic acts performing on Sunday … Lee Lambert from 2pm and Lucky 13 - Huddersfield Covers Band from 4:30pm, it’s going to be a packed house come down and show your support for local talent! 🎙️

But first Forest vs Leeds 8pm tonight, hopefully the mighty whites can progress in the EFL cup and produce another great performance live on Sky Sports ⚽️

Today (24th August) we are taking our last booking for food at 5pm as we are closing the pub around 7pm this evening to take the staff out for a well deserved meal and a few drinks 🍻

Re-opening from 12pm tomorrow as normal 🥂

There’s a fantastic Saturday line up of sport today, Premier League football coverage from 12:30pm starting with Hull vs Man Utd ⚽️

The top two ranked teams in rugby union South Africa 🇿🇦 vs New Zealand 🇳🇿 go head to head at 4:10pm with a victory for the All Blacks placing them back at the top of the rankings, it’s going to be a cracking game 🏉

We also have three Super League games starting with St Helens vs Castleford at 3pm 🏉

2 10oz Sirlion Steaks and a bottle of house w**e for £50, you can upgrade to Ribeye (+£2pp) or Fillet for (+£5pp) 🍷

You can also swap your drinks if you don’t like w**e to soft drinks or draught pints 🍺

Our full menu is also available from 5pm.

Please note we are extremely busy over the weekend and booking is essential to avoid disappointment, call 01924 699360 ☎️

We are also closing the pub at around 7pm on Monday 24th August (Next Monday). Last booking for food will be 5pm as we are taking the staff out for a few drinks and a meal to thank them for their hard work during the holidays. ⛔️
