Three weeks of absolute HELL. And I don’t say that lightly. 🤯😂
Being a small business owner is wild. Sometimes you’re absolutely smashing it, and sometimes you’re just trying to keep all the plates spinning while quietly wondering which one is going to hit you on the head first. 😂
The last three weeks have tested me in ways I definitely didn’t have on my September bingo card.
But tonight, I’m sat here with a chamomile tea, my oracle cards, some beautiful candles burning and, for the first time in what feels like forever… I’ve stopped. 🕯️✨
And all I feel is grateful.
Grateful for my friends who have checked in, stepped in and put up with me.
Grateful for my boyfriend, who has been there through the chaos.
Grateful for my brother, who has carried more than his fair share when I’ve needed him.
Grateful for my amazing customers who continue to support my little business, even when the woman behind it is running around like a lunatic. 😂
And grateful for every single person who has messaged me and patiently waited approximately 3–5 business years for a reply. 🙈😂 I promise I wasn’t ignoring you — life was just LIFE-ING.
Running a small business can look exciting from the outside, but behind the coffee, the posts, the events and the smiles is a real person trying to juggle a million things at once.
These last few weeks have reminded me that I don’t have to do everything alone.
Tonight there’s no rushing and no fixing anything.
Just tea. Candles. Cards. Reflection.
And a massive feeling of gratitude for the people around me. ❤️
If you’ve helped me, supported me, listened to me, worked alongside me, bought a coffee, sent a message, given me a hug or simply been patient with me…
Thank you. More than you probably realise.
Here’s to coming out the other side a little calmer, a little wiser and very, very grateful. ✨🕯️🤍
