As we approach what's meant to be a scorcher of a week, please note we're doing our very best to still bake as much as we can, but also limiting some oven time to ensure our bakers don't overheat 🖤

Time to be open and honest.. you may have noticed in the past 2 months we've had 3 members of our team leave.. now this is because they're moving on to bigger and better things for their future.

BUT, we won't be replacing them.. let me explain why. We're such a small community business, and we don't really need 7 staff. While I loved having a big and beautiful team, it's just not sustainable for the business long term.

Keeping our team smaller to now just 4 of us, means we can keep our prices for you guys the same, meaning you can hopefully keep treating yourself without fear of breaking the bank.

Also, this will help me keep our overheads lower and give more time to baking. This won't change how much cake we make. It's always just been me and zak , and that won't change 🫶

It just means we may require a little patience and understanding in front of house for the staff that remain, and you will see more of me out serving you too, I enjoy making your drinks and saying hello 🖤

So please, if you send an email or messaging asking for a job, we aren't looking right now but we appreciate you thinking of us 🥹
