🌞🌞🌞🌞☀️☀️☀️☀️Well that sun was warm today. So not only were the fantastic English Lakes Ice Creams available by the scoop ( or two 😉😉) but so were these little beauties!! We have two flavours in stock, Strawberry, Cucumber & Basil or Dragon Fruit & Mango. I’ve tried them both but can’t decide which is my favourite. Now we stocked up on these this morning but they’ve been so icily refreshing during this heatwave ( it’s official) that we are heading back tomorrow to pick some more up as we are running low.

So if you’re having a day on the beach 🏖️, a trip to the park 🛝 or just a wander through the beautiful village of Heysham, remember to stay hydrated with an ice cold fruit cooler. See you all tomorrow

And just like that, the Bank Holiday is over. Thank you to everyone who has visited us over the holidays. You have kept us on our toes every day and you’ve done it again!!
You’ve wiped us out of almost everything, but after a quick restock in the morning, we will be back to do it all again tomorrow.

Well that has been a day and a half. The 🌞🌞☀️came out, and so did the people. We pretty much sold out of all our home made cakes, we emptied more than a few ice cream Napoli’s, with refills already done, and our fridges are all but bare. But tomorrow we will be back…. The iced coffees, the cappuccino’s, the smoothies & the milkshakes will all be back on tap, the cakes freshly baked, and the toasties will be good to go…… and English Lakes Luxury Ice Cream in 9 flavours will be available all day. See you all tomorrow for a fabulous Bank Holiday Monday

Well would you take a look at this…

It’s not a triple chocolate brownie with a fudgy middle, nor is it a silky smooth home made caramel millionaire slice either. No, it’s our very indulgent, combo. Ladies & Gentlemen, welcome to the Brillionaire. Home made triple chocolate brownie on the bottom, a creamy home made thick caramel layer in the middle, and a mix of dark and milk chocolate on top. Now we could say it ‘ Hits right’ or it ‘hits different’ ( we prefer to say perfect with a cappuccino or pot of tea) or it’s ’ just dropped’ ( carefully prepared by yours truly, someone who knows a good thing when she sees it) but we won’t. In fact, it’s the perfect combo to have this weekend and available at the Old Barn Coffee Lounge. Pop along and get a slice while it lasts.

We’ve had a lot of questions recently about the sale of The Old Barn, so just to let you all know, we are still here until the process is complete. We don’t have a date yet so we will remain ‘Business as usual’ until we do.

It’s beautifully sunny out there today so there have been a lot of iced lattes, fruit coolers and milkshakes on tap. It’s not stopped this little beauty from getting through though…… deluxe hot chocolate at its best. We only use Cadbury hot chocolate with lots of creamy milk, then top it off with lots of whipped cream and marshmallows. Pure indulgence
