S.O.S - 'Typical Tradesman' has let us down AGAIN and we need this small ceiling sorting ASAP - like today.

Any tradesmen in the area available TODAY to put up some plasterboard and plaster a small ceiling???

It's almost time for the Buskers afternoon starting at 4pm folks. All are welcome and it's a great opportunity for those wanting to cut their teeth performing in public, but starting with a smaller audience as we have an intimate venue.

Good news everybody.

The ceiling in the gents is getting sorted on Tues so hoping for them to be reopened in time for the 1st England game that evening. It'll be unpainted but at least it'll be open. The floor will need replacing too after the work and with the recent added footfall in the ladies, this will also be updated as soon as possible.

Lots going on in the window right now...as we have lots going on.

But main point of business is the Buskers this Sunday from 4pm. Hoasted as always by the awesome Stephen Torrance this is the second event in our summer schedule and promises to be bigger and better. So get down early to nab a good vantage point. As always this is open to all and being a smaller,intimate venue, it's great for new starters to perform in front of a smaller crowd, whilst veterans can warm themselves up for other events across Whitley Bay later in the day. So come and help

We'll be open from 2pm as usual and we currently only have 1 cask of this available. Hoping for high demand on this beer so you know what to do if you don't want to miss out and help business / breweries

It's Saturday folks and we have a Private Function this evening and so the pub will be closing at 6:30pm.

But we're open now with a great board and also a fridge full of cans. We sell keg & cask beer by the growler (bring any 1ltr bottle with you) and all cans are available to take home . You may need to just zoom in as we do have a lot in at the moment, so come and fill your boots and enjoy at home this evening.

DIY day today as stage 2 of the gents toilet roof goes into effect. The outside flat roof has been completely relayed so all leaks so now be resolved. We've removed the damp roof and will be treated this week in prep for a new ceiling going up sometime next week.

We may be delayed in opening today and thanks for all your patience whilst the gents toilets are closed until further notice.
