We love a Sunday roast at Polly’s Social, and there’s a bit more to the beef on your plate than you might know.

Our local farmer Andy collects the spent grain from the brewery twice a week to feed his cows. Those same cattle provide the beef we serve here, alongside big Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes and plenty of gravy.

Andy and his wife Cheryl also run Agri-cation, a community interest company in Wrexham. They do brilliant work bringing people together through farming, helping people build skills and confidence, supporting those looking for work and welcoming schools to learn about agriculture. There’s a lot going on beyond looking after the cattle, and we’re proud to have that connection with them.

The cows are extremely well looked after, and both our brewery and Social teams regularly visit the farm. You’ll even spot them in the montage videos playing on the screens around the Social next time you’re in.

Roasts served 12–5pm every Sunday at Polly’s Social.

Christmas at Polly’s Social 🎄

The festive season is nearly here, and we’ve got plenty planned at Polly’s Social.

Our festive menu starts on the 24th November, packed with seasonal plates, proper comfort food and a few Polly’s twists. We’ll also be open across the festive period, with a few extra dates to keep in mind.

Polly’s Social is looking for two chefs to join our kitchen team in Mold town centre.

Junior Sous Chef — £34,000
Chef de Partie — £30,000
Full-time — 45 hours per week
Paid breaks
Start as soon as possible

We serve small plates Wednesday to Saturday, alongside our Sunday roasts from 12–5.

Following a successful and profitable first year, we’re growing the team and looking ahead to the next stage for Polly’s Social.

We’re a small, friendly team with a relaxed working environment and plenty of freedom in the kitchen. We want chefs who enjoy food, have ideas of their own and want to help us keep developing our small plates menu.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Experience working in a busy professional kitchen
• A strong standard of food preparation and presentation
• Good organisation and cleanliness
• The ability to work well as part of a small team
• A genuine interest in producing great food
• Reliability and a good attitude

Christmas Day and Boxing Day are closed.

WE’RE HIRING: BAR SUPERVISOR

Polly’s Social is looking for an experienced Bar Supervisor to join our team in Mold town centre.

Mold, Flintshire
Part-time / Full-time considered
ÂŁ13.20 per hour
Start as soon as possible

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves hospitality and can confidently lead the team during service.

You’ll support day-to-day operations, maintain excellent standards and help create the welcoming experience our customers return for.

We’re looking for someone with:

• At least two years’ supervisory experience in hospitality
• Experience in both behind the bar, and waiting on
• Strong leadership, organisation and communication skills
• Knowledge of stock control, cellar management and food-safety standards
• Confidence with cashing up and closing the venue
• A genuine passion for excellent customer service

Experience with craft b**r, cocktails, events or social media would be a bonus.
