I was asked to bake a cake/scones/ bara brith every month for a year,as a birthday gift for a lovely gentleman who doesn’t need anything. His face when I knock on his door each month with something different each time makes it all worthwhile.
A raspberry ripple cake with jam and buttercream is this month’s ’present’ from his daughter.
