Meet the Team – Hannah, General Manager

This week we’re shining the spotlight on Hannah, our General Manager.

Hannah joined The White Gate in March 2025 and brings nine years of hospitality experience to the team.

Although she’ll admit her favourite part of the job is meeting all the lovely dogs that come to visit us, what she really enjoys is sharing her passion for great food and wine with our guests and helping to create memorable dining experiences.

If you ask Hannah for her menu recommendation, it’s an easy choice…

Away from The White Gate, Hannah is also a professional dancer. She spent time performing on cruise ships before returning to hospitality full-time and we’re incredibly lucky to have her leading our front-of-house team.

✨ Meet the Team – Crystal ✨

This week we’re shining the spotlight on Crystal, our longest-serving team member here at The White Gate.

At just 22 years old, Crystal has already built six years of hospitality experience, having started in the industry at the age of 16. Hospitality isn’t just a job to her it’s what she’s always wanted to do.

Whether she’s welcoming you behind the bar or looking after you in the restaurant, chances are you’ve been greeted with her friendly smile. Despite travelling from Huddersfield to Mirfield for every shift, her enthusiasm never fades.

Since we reopened 18 months ago, Crystal has been a huge part of The White Gate’s journey, helping us create the warm, welcoming atmosphere we’re so proud of.
