🍽️ WE’RE HIRING – SEASONAL CAFÉ ASSISTANT / KITCHEN PORTER

Cherry Hill Café is looking for a hardworking, energetic team member to join us for our busy seasonal period!

We’re heading into our busiest time of the year, and we’re looking for someone who can keep up with a fast-paced café environment, get stuck in and help wherever they’re needed.

☕ WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

This is an all-round café role, so no two days will necessarily be the same!

Your duties may include:

• Taking food from the kitchen through to the café
• Clearing and cleaning tables
• Washing pots, pans and dishes
• Keeping the kitchen and pot wash area clean and tidy
• Helping serve customers when needed
• Supporting the café team during busy periods
• Keeping tables and customer areas clean and presentable
• Helping with general café duties
• Working as part of the team to keep everything running smoothly
• Getting stuck in wherever you're needed!

👋 WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We need someone who is:

✔️ Hardworking and reliable
✔️ Comfortable working at a fast pace
✔️ Happy to get stuck in
✔️ Friendly and approachable
✔️ A good team player
✔️ Able to stay calm when things get busy
✔️ Willing to help with all areas of the café

Café, kitchen or hospitality experience would be a bonus, but a great attitude, reliability and willingness to work hard are what really matter.

📅 SEASONAL ROLE

This is a seasonal position, helping our café team through our busy autumn and Christmas period.

We have shifts available during the week and at weekends, but weekend availability is essential for this role.

We need someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves, work hard and get stuck in during our busiest time of year!

🎄😂 THE CAFE TEAM HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF CHRISTMAS… ALREADY! 😂🎄

We’ve been talking Christmas, planning Christmas, creating Christmas, booking Christmas… and quite frankly, the cafe team have decided they need a BREAK! 🤣

So instead of thinking about another Christmas event for five minutes… the kitchen team have simply nuckled down and got baking! 👩‍🍳😂

Because apparently the answer to Christmas overload is… CAKE. Lots of cake. 🍰❤️

Now, if anyone needs us, we’ll be in the kitchen pretending Christmas doesn’t exist for at least 10 minutes. 😂🎅🏼
