😮💨 Here goes...
What started as a Saturday night side hustle in our bakery unit snowballed into an institution. But all good things must inevitably come to an end.
This has been the most amazing, stressful, soul igniting and meaningful chapter of our lives so far - but now we're ready to start the next one. All 3 of us (Alex, Elle and the V-EDGE bun in the oven) 🫡.
To say we've given our lives to this business would be an understatement, and it's almost pointless trying to put into words how difficult of a decision it is to let go, but we have a hell of a next chapter coming to us.
Now, this doesn't mean you won't find us popping up when you least expect it. We're working on that, so please stick around 🫡.
That being said, it really just warrants the biggest, most heartfelt thank you to you all. Because of your support we've built our dream, we got to have 3.5 amazing years, we got to have a job that allowed us to spend unlimited time with Cookie in her last months, and we have the option to bring our legendary scran to you in a different capacity eventually (assuming life allows it 🤣).That's all you. Thank you will never be enough.
We hope its clear to see how hard this is for us, and how sad we are to tell you this. We know what crap news it is for so many of you, and we are definitely not closing due to lack of business - you keep us so busy! 🥵 We just need to focus on our new family and actually give ourselves a life beyond these walls, we know you'll understand 🤝.
We will be closed from now until Tues 25th, with our final day of trading on Saturday 29th March. More info to follow.
