Ode to the Potholes

Once upon a drive not long ago,
Lived craters so deep they put on a show.
So big, so bold, so wide and so grim,
We joked they were nearly ready to swim 🏊‍♂️

Thank you all for your patience and cheer,
While repairs have been happening right here.
Matt and Rachel worked hard all day through,
Filling those holes with stone and grit too 👏

So please drive slowly, gentle and kind,
Help bed the stones and keep peace of mind.
Avoid any damage to cars and tyres,
And steer well clear of the stone pyres!

Thanks again for bearing with us today,
Smooth driving (and swimming) is on the way 💙🚗

🎄 Christmas Opening Hours & Festive Wishes 🎄

As we head into the festive season, we’d like to wish all our wonderful customers a very Happy Christmas and thank you for your continued support throughout the year.

✨ Opening over Christmas
We’ll be open on Boxing Day and New Year’s Day for swimmers, so you can kick off the celebrations (or recover from them!) with a refreshing dip (Boxing Day fully booked). Please note that we’ll be running a limited menu in the coffee shop over the Christmas period.

🚫 We are closed on:
• Christmas Day (25th)
• 29th December
• 30th December
• 31st December

Just a little heads-up from your favourite lakeside coffee shop🪿💛

We’ll be running special hours this Easter weekend, so you can still get your coffee fix (and a cake or two! 😉):

📅 Easter Weekend Hours:
🕘 Good Friday: 10am – 2pm
🕙 Saturday: 9am – 2pm
🌼 Easter Sunday: Closed
🌼 Easter Monday: 9am-1pm

Who doesn’t love a quiz night!?

Our good friends Matt and Sarah have once again put together a festive quiz for us on Thursday 19th December after the swim.

The quiz will be held in our coffee shop and everyone is welcome to join us for what promises to be a fun social evening. You can either gather your pals together to form a team or we will form teams on the night. Also, you are not required to swim first if it’s not your thing!!

We will be serving mugs of soup and sausage rolls on the night if you want to eat to keep things simple. Drinks and cake will also be available of course! Hope to see you there!
