If you were lucky enough to be at our Ascot Ladies Day then you would have been witness to an incredible performance by Matthew Wi******er.

I’m really happy to say that he will appear at Blackwater Quay on 11th July from 2:30pm til 7:30pm as a DJ and Entertainer.

This is the same day as an important birthday gathering for one of our long term regulars. So pop by and enjoy together early music and dance the night away.

✨ What an amazing day we had at Blackwater Quay - Ascot Ladies Day yesterday! ✨

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a fantastic event.

Special thanks go to Laura and Bianca for producing a wonderful selection of high-class canapés for all you lovely ladies. Behind the bar, Will, Holly and Sally worked tirelessly to keep the drinks flowing, while Jacob and Evie made sure nobody went hungry throughout the day.

This event marks the beginning of a series of fundraising events in support of the incredible Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.

We’re delighted to say that our raffle raised £165 thanks to Tracy Asher working hard to get to you all. A special thanks to the generosity of Linda Rumsam, Lisa and her mum with an additional £40 was donated, bringing yesterday’s total to £205. Added to the £210 already raised through our JustGiving page, we’re now at £415 and well on our way towards our £1,000 fundraising target.

A special surprise of the day was an impromptu performance from Matthew Wi******er. When the weather forced us to move indoors, Matthew stepped up and ensured the rain did nothing to dampen spirits, delivering a fantastic performance that was enjoyed by all.

What a week we’ve got lined up at Blackwater Quay!

Tomorrow, England begin their World Cup 2026 campaign and we’ll be showing the big game live on all screens. Could they really be just eight games away from lifting the World Cup? What a way to start against Croatia! ⚽🏆

Saturday sees a debut performance from Brandon Ambrose from 3pm until 6pm, bringing some fantastic live music to the Quay. We’ll then keep the tunes flowing inside throughout the evening.

We’re also honoured to be hosting a very special 90th birthday celebration for one of our lovely village residents. What an incredible milestone! 🎉

Then on Sunday, Tony B is back from 4pm until 7pm to help us celebrate Father’s Day. Always a popular performer and the perfect way to round off the weekend.

And to top it all off, the weather forecast is looking absolutely glorious and mid afternoon tides ☀️🍻

Football, live music, celebrations, great food, cold drinks and sunshine – we look forward to seeing you all at Blackwater Quay this week.
