🍻🔥 A LITTLE WINTER UPDATE FROM THE DRUID INN! 🔥🍻

As we head into the quieter winter months, we’re taking the opportunity to get stuck into a few jobs here at The Druid!

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be opening at weekends only, giving us a chance to crack on with some maintenance, improvements and those little jobs that always seem to end up on the to-do list! 🔨🧹

November has historically been a quieter month for us, so rather than twiddling our thumbs, we thought we’d make good use of the time!

We’ve also got some further planned maintenance taking place in January as we continue to give our lovely old pub a little TLC. ❤️

🌿 LOOKING AHEAD TO SPRING & SUMMER! ☀️

You may notice a few changes taking place outside over the winter months too!

We’re hoping to make some improvements to our outdoor seating area, creating an even lovelier spot to sit back, relax and enjoy a drink when the warmer weather returns next spring and summer. 🌸🍺

We’re taking things a step at a time, but we’re excited to keep making little improvements along the way.

There’s something rather lovely about a cosy country pub on a cold winter’s day, and we’ll be making sure The Druid is just that!

There’s some uncertainty about the water supply in Birchover today after notification that Severn Trent will be in the area completing work. So unfortunately we have made the decision not to open this lunch time as we just can’t do it with no water.

We will be back Friday and look forward to seeing you 💛🍺🍻

Further to our recent posts, we would now like to confirm our plans for opening throughout October and the winter months.

First of all, what an amazing summer it has been! ❤️

It has been wonderful to be back at The Druid, welcoming so many familiar faces and meeting plenty of new ones along the way.

The support we have received since reopening has been fantastic, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who has called in for a drink, enjoyed a snack or simply popped by to say hello.

Looking Ahead to Winter

As we move into the quieter winter months, we have had to make some difficult decisions regarding our opening hours.

Like many small rural pubs, the winter months can be particularly challenging, and we need to be realistic about when we open to ensure that The Druid can continue operating throughout the winter.

Our aim has always been to keep The Druid open and welcoming to the community, and by making some adjustments to our hours, we hope to do just that.

Please note the October and Winter Opening Hours. winter opening hours will take effect from 1st November 🍺

Thank You for Your Continued Support 💛

We appreciate that these hours may not suit everyone, but we sincerely hope you will continue to join us whenever you can as we work our way through the winter months.

Whether it’s a pint after a walk, a catch-up with friends or simply somewhere warm and welcoming to spend an afternoon, we look forward to seeing you.

Every visit really does make a difference to a small village pub like ours.

Your continued support is what helps us keep the doors open, the b**r flowing and The Druid at the heart of the village.

We have had an amazing summer, and it has been great to be back. We are determined to do everything we can to ensure that The Druid remains open throughout the winter and beyond.
