🍻 THIRSTY THURSDAY 🍻

Fridays clock in time can wait It’s been a slow week since Monday anyway. 😂

We’re open from 6pm with cracking pints, pool, darts and a FREE jukebox, because judging your mates’ music taste is cheaper than therapy.

⚽ Football is Back this weekend and Clack’s already applying his first coat of bo****ks. 🎨

A painter by trade, football expert by his own admission. Talks about a clean sheet like it’s something he puts over your sofa, and his predictions usually need a second coat.

We can show TWO games at once so he can watch his team lose while glossing over the other result. 🍻🤣

Fixtures below 👇 Come for the football. Stay to watch Clack blame the referee, VAR and the shocking undercoat he’s applied to some victim up the road.

⚽ OLDENS v YOUNGENS £1,572.50 RAISED! ❤️

Some questionable decisions across that pitch on Sunday… starting with a few lads thinking they could still last 90 minutes. 😂

Barny refereed with complete impartiality, both the Oldens’ defence AND attack got his full support. Rumour has it VAR stood for “Veterans Always Right”. 🤣

But between the dodgy decisions, missed sitters and hamstrings handing in their notice, we raised a fantastic £1,572.50 for Every Life Matters, the air ambulance and Maryport Boxing Club!

All while remembering Danny, Jud and our friends and family who are no longer on the touchline but will always be part of our team. We can almost hear them: “I’d have bloody scored that!” ❤️

Thank you to everyone who donated, helped and cheered us on. Especially everyone who pulled their boots on again, bet getting out of bed on Monday was your real sporting achievement. 😂

Before that, it’s Oldens v Youngens at 2pm as we come together to remember Danny and Jud. Then it’s back to the pub for raffles, collections and a few good memories.

BRING CASH for the raffles and collections! 💷
