Hi everyone, I'm Biddy. 🐾❤️ I'm Bella's sister from another Mr. 😍
Once upon a time, I was a racing greyhound. I spent years in kennels, I never really knew what it was like to just... relax.
Now look at me! ☀️
I've swapped racing for snoozing, kennels for comfy cushions, and these days you'll usually find me stretched out on the window seat at the Rusty Axe, soaking up the sunshine and watching the world go by.
Life is pretty wonderful now. I get lots of fuss, plenty of naps, and I'm surrounded by people who love me just the way I am.
If you pop in and see me, don't worry if I'm fast asleep... it's a hard life being retired! 🥰

📸 A little piece of Rusty Axe history came to life today...
We had the pleasure of welcoming a lovely lady into the pub who recognised herself in one of our treasured photographs hanging on the wall.
The picture, taken in the 1950s, shows her as a little girl standing proudly outside the Rusty Axe with her mum and dad. Amazingly, that very little girl walked back through our doors today! ❤️
To stand in the same place all these years later and share her memories with us was incredibly special. Moments like these remind us that the Rusty Axe isn't just a pub – it's been part of so many people's lives and holds generations of wonderful memories.

What a week! ❤️
After an insanely busy week, we are now closed until Tuesday.
🍻 Bar reopens Tuesday from 4:00pm.
A huge thank you to every single one of you who has visited us, eaten with us, had a drink, and supported us this week. Your continued support means the world to our small team, and we truly appreciate every one of you.

A lovely lady sent us this beautiful photograph of The Rusty Axe this evening. She found it amongst her late mother's treasured photos and kindly shared it with us.
Unfortunately, there wasn't a date on the picture, and we'd love to know when it was taken.
