Some very sad news from over the weekend, we lost a Martin Legend and our very own "Mr fix-it" Fergus Phillip who sadly passed away in hospital.
"Ferg" as he's better known has become a good friend and patron of The Royal Oak and its pool playing customers, always happy to mend pool cues etc and often strolled in with a gift for the bar, reading the time on the bar from the clock he donated will be a little more poignant going forward and he will be deeply missed by us all, our deepest sympathy goes out to James, Laura, Sheila and the rest of the Phillip family and close friends at this very sad time,
Take care my friend until we meet again, "your break"!

With staff holidays and lots of holiday makers joining us over the summer, we’d recommend booking a table for food wherever possible to avoid disappointment and wait times 🍽️

Our food service / opening times may vary slightly throughout August (Mainly lunchtimes) as we work around staff holidays and do our best to keep everything running smoothly. Please call ahead to book your table. 01526 701087

We really appreciate your understanding and patience, and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Thank you for your continued support — we look forward to seeing you soon! ❤️
