A Taste of Autumn

Join Head Gardener, Sarah Smith-Roe, for a guided Garden Tour exploring the award-winning garden and one-acre kitchen garden with its bountiful autumnal produce.

This will be followed by a delicious, seasonally inspired autumn tasting menu showcasing the best of Goldstone’s seasonal spiced produce & local artisanal food and drink.

Itinerary

10.30am – Arrival and Welcome

11.00am – Guided Garden Tour

12.30pm – Seasonal tasting lunch

3.00pm – Finish

Diners will be seating together

Pathways are gravel and grass for the garden tour.

Disabled access for dining.

The cost is £70.00 per person.

RHS member receive a 20% discount on booking – must show valid RHS membership card.

The Lawley often gets overshadowed by the Long Mynd and Caer Caradoc, which is probably why it stays so peaceful. 🥾

The walk follows a narrow ridge with views that seem to change every few minutes. Look one way and it's the Stretton Valley. Turn around and you've got Caer Caradoc, the Long Mynd and, on a clear day, the Welsh hills stretching into the distance.

Summer is a great time to walk it too. Wildflowers line the path, butterflies seem to be everywhere and there's a good chance you won't be sharing the summit with many other people.

Back in Church Stretton afterwards, a cold drink or a pub lunch feels well earned.
